{Inspired by my flu and subsequent fever}

About your health, it’s not something to take for granted.  To assume that your body is just going to last forever even though you don’t take care of it is a very very wrong assumption.  Remember that there is a price to pay for the sum of bad habits.  Quite often you will not be the only one paying, consider those who depend upon you.  We each have one body in this life, one.  In case you missed that, you have one body.  Take care of it.  Be tender with it.  Be mindful of it.  Without your health you have nothing.  All the money in the world can’t buy good health, that job you’re stressing yourself over will replace you in a heartbeat, every meal you skip is a chance you miss to put nutrients into your body.  Similarly, avoiding exercise is a chance you miss to help your body function at its best.  For you.  For them.  So just take it easy.  Get some exercise, go to sleep, eat well, stop worrying, make good choices.  And if you need help, reach out and ask.

And if you don’t get help the first time, keep asking until you do.
