Honey

It’s so old school—honey!  The bees bring this gem to us and it’s the perfect natural sweetener.  Because it’s so potent and rich you don’t need a lot in your tea or coffee.  A teaspoon or two will do.

Aside from sweetening our morning drink honey has anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties additionally helping to stave off colds and it’s even used in the treatment of some wounds.

Even though there are so many grown-up looking jars available I always reach for this bear, it’s what I grew up on.  And so portable too.  The bear honey bottle.  But, of course!
